Operations

Portfolio Manager

  • Job Summary: Gaingels is currently looking for a Portfolio Manager. This person will actively track and interact with portfolio companies to identify portfolio company needs, determine fundraising rounds, and work closely with the portfolio services director to help increase engagement and deliver a unique experience to members and portfolio companies.

Research Operations Associate
  • Job Summary: Gaingels is currently looking for a Venture Capital Research Operations Associate to write investment memos about prospective portfolio companies, manage continuously changing deal data, and edit investment memos from other writers. The Associate will work on a small team in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy, reliability, and dependability are key. Through this work, the associate will have the opportunity to learn about the investment process for venture capital, angel investing, and the private equity market. The Associate will also have the opportunity to develop investment analysis skills by watching numerous pitches from potential companies, communication skills from dealing with clients on a daily basis, and networking skills by attending and participating in Gaingels events.

Contract Recruiter

  • Job Summary: Gaingels is currently looking for a Contract Recruiter to assist us in our growth and work with our portfolio companies to help them in their recruiting needs. As a staffing and recruitment specialist, you will actively recruit qualified individuals for open positions, formulate and implement hiring processes, oversee candidate interviews and screening, and collaborate with HR personnel to formulate effective staffing strategies. Our ideal candidate has both considerable experience and success as a corporate recruiter, in addition to strong communication and organizational skills.
